Her struggle with weight motivated her to adapt a healthy lifestyle where she lost and has kept off 25 pounds. While in the Air Force, she held an additional duty to lead group exercise then managed the entire unit fitness program. She also worked as a health coach, Zumba instructor, and indoor cycling instructor.
